Free Wheelers (Gateway Wheelers)

The project will develop cycling facility sessions specifically for people physically disabled due to brain injury or an accident. A specific session for people with acquired brain injury would be beneficial, as it would allow people in a similar situation to meet and support each other, while taking part in a fun, healthy activity that will also help them to learn new skills.

I want gateway wheelers to get the funding as they do so much for disabled cyclists in our area and as a cyclist myself feel open access for all is important

I have a learning disability and was one of the first memebers.Please vote for Gateway Wheelers, it helped my confidence and helped me to make new friends.I would reccomend this charity to anyone with a disability. Paul James, Consett.

Although they are only a small charity, it is run by people with big hearts and even bigger smiles! They will do everything in their power to help people achieve something they thought impossible. PLEASE SUPPORT THEM

Good luck - Hope this wins my grandson loves been able to be part of cycling at the Chester le Street session - he smiles so much fantastic for him - and his big brother gets to take part too with mom and dad (my son) x

We love going to Gateway Wheelers to ride a bike and meet up with some great friends we have made at the cycling. One of the thing I love most is the sound of laughter and the smiles that every has. Good luck Free Wheelers
