Base Camp will see the creation of a community hub available to everyone in Kent, including Veterans and families within the wider community. The hub, located on the Royal British Legion Village, Aylesford, will include a cafe, office space and meeting rooms, hosting regular activities in which people of all ages will be encouraged to participate. The aim of the project is to allow individuals to come together and take part in a wide range of activities, helping to promote independent living, reduce isolation and bring the community together.

A fabulous community project that can only serve to enhance many peoples lives. Anything that can help reduce individuals isolation and offer support for all in the community in an ever increasing stressful world has to be worth doing.
