The project will run a number of activities designed to get the older generation to mix and work with young people. An allotment will be set up to teach people how to grow fruit and vegetables and how to cook it so they can come together and share the meal. Young people will be taught home maintenance with activities such as balancing their budgets, decorating, changing a plug and dealing with a blocked sink. The over 55s will be taught about exercise, nutrition, how to use the internet for shopping, Skype by young people working with them.
