Disability Community Bus (The Disability Community)

The project will involve the purchase of a new specially adapted mini-bus to provide safe and reliable transport for members to access Disability Community activities and services. There will also be training sessions provided for existing staff and volunteers to either refresh or learn the skills needed to drive the minibus . Transport can be large barrier for people with disabilities which prevents them from having an active life in the local community. The adapted minibus will provide safe and secure transport to enable us to provide this opportunity to more people .

The Disability Community are an incredible organisation. They help the disabled and the vulnerable live their lives to the fullest through a range of activities in their wonderful, inclusive community centre.

Having read and watched, both charities do really worthwhile work. I wish both all the best for the campaign. Mother of son Paul, whose life has been transformed using the specially adapted bikes from Blazing Saddles. Good luck!
