This project will offer a free handy van service to older and vulnerable people to help with practical household tasks, ranging from changing light bulbs to taking down curtains, putting up shelves, tidying the garden, as well as undertaking security and fire safety checks. Labour costs are free but clients will need to purchase any materials required for any small repairs or DIY tasks. The service can also make referrals to their partners for additional services that may help them to live independently.
