Boveridge House School
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED OUR PROJECT AND THANK YOU FOR TAKING THE TIME TO VOTE. WE ARE SO PLEASED AND LOOKING FORWARD TO MAKING THE DIG-IT PROJECT WORK.
Boveridge House, a registered charity, is an independent residential special school and Post 19 provision for children and young people aged 9 to 25 years with special educational needs, complex communication needs, social and emotional difficulties and behavioural concerns. Whilst catering for a range of special needs we also cater for the range of syndromes, making it more difficult for our students to function in the everday living and working environment.
We are able to provide a happy, supportive learning environment that encourages the development of each child and young person in our care to achieve their full potential regardless of their starting point or personal challenges. We strive to instil confidence, ambition and resilience in the children and young people in our care, helping them to mature into, purposeful, independent and fulfilled future citizens within their local communities. However, we are aware that after they leave our school environment they may not have the opportunities afforded to those without these challenges or syndromes.
This project will support the development of these attributes and provide our students with life long skills enabling them to transition into the community when they leave us.
Through the project, the students will provide our local community a horticultural service and general gardening services. SEE OUR LINK http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6HM1M2uk45k
